Positive: It is a super beautiful place! Food was good at the cafe. Rooms are huge, tall ceiling, good AC, mattress, shower is amazing, loved it!
Negative: Peacocks are insanely loud, I didn't know they have actual peacocks there XD They were screaming all nigh and morning like someone is trying to kill them. Please provide instructions and earplugs to all the guests!

Positive: Room was clean All amenities we could need in the room Staff were friendly
Negative: The swimming pool was more of an ornamental type pool surrounded by swarms of mosquitoes. The peacocks were caring all day and all night long. The restaurant and bar were closed during our stay which was in low season so we had to eat out every single meal and the immediate area was NOY suitable /safe to walk so we had to drive everywhere.
Summary: Lovely room and day bed- shame about the pool

Positive: The peaceful ambience, liked that it was away from the normal hustle and bustle of the beachy areas.
Negative: It would have been good if there was a lift, at the end bringing the cases down was lots of work but, i recognise it's an old house and we didn't ask for help from the staff... So not complaining just a reflection.

Negative: We stayed on a Monday where there is no dinner service and its a little far from restaurants and grocery stores so you'd need to plan ahead

Positive: If visiting Barbados and wanting a truly relaxing environment with outstanding staff and facilities plus an easy 15 minute meander down to the beach and Bridgetown, this is a must stay location !! A hidden gem which offers so much - all staff are so friendly, genuine and eager to ensure a relaxing time is had, restaurant and bar are set outside but under cover so always airy and relaxed with food, beverages and music all excellent, very flavoured and varied plus the hotel offers a cracking Bajan styled buffet lunch on Sundays. Definitely utilise the spa facilities - my better half and I opted for the couples massage which was so relaxing and the girls are excellent, very professional plus never rushed. There is a lovely area in which to sit out, a stunning swimming pool that is beautifully shaped into the rocks and garden that is never busy plus peacocks, green monkeys and hummingbirds mingle amongst the trees and flowers. A huge thanks to ALL the staff. Natalie, Nicole, Michelle and crew are so welcoming plus nothing is too much trouble. We will be back plus thoroughly recommend Sweetfield Manor as a location in which to relax, unwind and utilise as a base whilst enjoying this beautiful Island !!!!
