Positive: Calm, serene location, with fabulous verandah, seemed a shame to be there for work without my wife - next time!. As relayed to the staff (who were wonderful), that was the best hotel breakfast I've had in many years. The room was amazing and full of character - so so not the corporate hotel style.
Negative: Only negative I could find is the bar/restaurant closes early afternoon, so no evening cocktails on site.
Summary: Fab hotel, boutique & serene, well worth a stay even if it's a bit of a walk to to the beach.

Positive: The location is perfect- close to city centre. The grounds are excellently maintained and we had a room with a veranda and a spectacular view to the sea! Peacocks were beautiful. We chose this hotel for our honeymoon and it exceeded our expectations

Positive: The room (Migonette) was spacious and had a nice view of the sea in the distance. We loved the peacocks. The massage was very good. The TV channels and options of Netflix etc was good. The swimming pool was beautiful and hotel communal area was decorated nicely.
Negative: The hotel was in the middle of nowhere and breakfast was not included in the price, which was not clear when booking. There was a 15 min massage advertised, which was misleading as it was 20 BSD off the price of a massage per room rather than everyone getting a free massage. The massages were pricey. Our room did not have water for 2 days so that was tough. 5 star hotels have telephones - this hotel had a whatsapp phone number to contact which was not manned 27/4. Reception was not manned 24/7 either. My friends did not like their room (Mahogany) because it was small and did not have windows (so was dark) which was not stated on booking.com. The beaches were longer than a 15 min walk (more like 30 min).
